Nikka Taketsuru Pure Malt 40yo sweet and powerfully smokyDESCRIPTION Launched in 2020 with a refined formula and a new label design, Nikka Taketsuru Pure Malt is named in honour of Masataka Taketsuru, the founder of Nikka and father of Japanese whisky. Produced from a blend of 100% malt whiskies to showcase the contrast and balance from Nikkas two distilleries located in the north of Japan: Yoichi malt and Miyagikyo malt aged in sherry barrels, and Miyagikyo malt aged in remade barrels. Bottled at 43%.
