Early Round Plane - No. 16 (Beech) woodturning dovetailed Norris plane has aA very old no. 16 round plane. The makers mark has been overstamped, it looks like it begins 'I. H.' (looks like the makers name possibly has 'EY' at the end (very, very faintly seen the otherside of overstamp)) This tactile plane has many of the characteristics of a plane which dates in the 1700's. Condition: all parts move freely, the cutting face is very clean for a plane of this age (a little bit of black staining minor pitting), please see photos
