The highly perfumed nose presents intense aromas of ripe red and black fruits such as cherries in syrup, strawberries, and figs over a spicy backdrop. Along with notes of fresh tobacco and crme de cassis that meld very well with the aromas of coffee and dark chocolate. The generous palate has very nicely rounded tannins that deliver a central nerve that lends structure to the wine along with a sense of
